What helps you cope?

Is there something that helps you cope with your ovarian cancer, treatment, or side effects?

  1. Keep busy n think positive!

    1. , those are great tips 🩷. It can be easy to feel defeated, but we can turn it around and know that we're still here, we haven't been defeated. I'm wishing you many victories. - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)

  2. Keeping busy with activities such as volunteer work at church; belief in prayer; playing cards with friends, etc. In other words staying busy and trying not to dwell on medical issues. But, when I receive a good report things certainly improve.

    1. , wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a New Year full of love, health and happiness. - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)

    2. , I wanted to check in with you and see how things are going. It's been a busy time for everyone! I'm hoping the good reports have been plentiful. - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)

  3. My hobby of quilting helps keep me focused on the project and not dwell on the cancer.

    1. I get too much inspiration when it comes to making quilts! I need to stop looking at new and focus on completing projects I’ve already started! Haha. All quilters are guilty of this. I’ve been making quilts for all my providers since I don’t enjoy baking goodies. It’s just my way to say THANK YOU! I’ve given 3 so far. 3-4 to go! I enjoy the process and so thankful I have a hobby to keep me busy 😊

    2. , that is such a lovely thing to do! I'm sure they appreciate that so much more than cookies and it;s something beautiful they can hand down in their families!

I tried quilting. I'm good at cutting and piecing, but I am inept with the sewing machine. I love it though, it is so visually pleasing. Your work is beautiful! How long does it take to complete a piece? - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)
