Financial toxicity is a term cancer doctors use to talk about the negative impact of cancer care on a person's financial status. This can include increased costs related to diagnosis, treatment, follow-up care, lost income, and increased debt. Has anyone experienced financial stress?
Absolutely!!! It has been a literal nightmare! Medicaid doesn't cover ovarian in SC! So I had to purchase insurance, however by then it was a "pre-existing condition" and so much of what I need is not covered or not fully covered.
