November-December 2024

In November, as an out-patient, I underwent insertion of a ureteral stent that I will keep for 3 months when I will have a repeat procedure. I use two drugs to help with the discomfort…Flomax and Myrebetriq daily. In December I had my CAT scans and CA-125 tests and all are fine and will repeat in 6 months!!!!!

Neuropathy treatment was unbearable

The neuropathy in my lower extremities has been getting worse. I've been following a prescribed regimen to deal with this, but the fall-out is the sedation. I don’t want to live the rest of my life this way.

New approach is promising

I told Oncology and Palliative Medicine/Pain Management doctors I want to be able to drive my car AND my sewing machine! So we are trying a different regimen with medications and the sedation is definitely improving.
